The series “Streets of Broken Lanterns” has become one of the most iconic projects on Russian television. His characters instantly became popular, and Sergei Selin, Alexei Nilov, Alexander Polovtsev and their on-screen colleagues became the images of police officers. There was even a separate offshoot project, “Deadly Force,” where Solovets, Dukalis, Larin and others worked together with the characters of Konstantin Khabensky and Andrei Fedortsov.
However, the tragic death of some characters in the finale of the fifth season of “Street” made their further appearance on the screens impossible. Only later it turned out that neither Selin nor Alexey Nilov knew that their characters were supposed to be killed in the plot. It’s just that the actors didn’t sign a contract for the new season, and they decided to treat their characters in such a cruel way.
To the delight of all fans, Dukalis, Solovets, Larin and Vasya Rogov appeared together in 2021 in a new project about the work of law enforcement agencies. And it is expected that these “cops” can still return to the airwaves under one condition.
“While there was a pandemic, we starred with Andrei Fedortsov, Sergei Selin and Alexei Nilov in “Police Brotherhood.” There was a promise from the producers to make a sequel, but so far they are silent,” – said Alexander Polovtsev in a conversation with “Express newspaper”.
