The 24th Bonn Festival starts on Friday, September 29th. Live music, a wine mile, a flea market and a shopping Sunday are planned.

Cologne – The 24th Bonn Festival starts in Bonn in North Rhine-Westphalia on Friday, September 29th. From Friday, September 29th to Sunday, October 1st, visitors can expect a colorful program with live music, a flea market and hands-on activities. There is a continuous program on all three days on five squares and two stages. There are also plans for Sunday shopping.

Bonn Festival 2023: These are the opening times

The 24th Bonn Festival will be officially opened on Friday, September 29th at 6 p.m. by Mayor Katja Dörner and the board of City-Marketing Bonn eV. The Bonn Festival has different opening times on all three days:

What will be offered at the Bonn Festival 2023?

For the Bonn Festival, the city center is transformed into various themed worlds. Everything revolves around the topics of enjoyment, mobility, leisure and lifestyle. In terms of cuisine, the organizer promises a gourmet mile on Münsterplatz and a culinary adventure trip through the most diverse regions of Europe.

A wine mile is presented on Friedrichstrasse. Under the motto “Wine & Design”, ten winemakers from the region offer their wines for tasting. Culinary specialties are also offered. For the first time, a flea market will take place on Friedensplatz every three days. The stages on the market square and the Münsterplatz offer lots of music, entertainment and dancing.

On the occasion of the “Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste” on Friday, September 29th, the regional representation of the European Commission will be present in the market square on all three days and, together with a chef, will show how the issue can be tackled.
