Police Seek Answers in Brooklyn Shooting that Claims One Life and Leaves Two Injured

Police are seeking to find the whereabouts of the person responsible for a shooting that claimed the life of one man and left two others injured in Brooklyn.

It happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday near the Sumner Houses public housing complex in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The man was shot in the head and taken to the hospital where he died.

Two others were shot in the back and stomach.

They are both recovering.

Meanwhile, the uniformed police are also still searching for the man who shot and killed another man, a woman and a dog on Friday night.

It happened at the intersection of West 165th Street and Edgecombe Avenue in Washington Heights.

Police reported that around eight p.m. they found a 57-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man shot in the head.

They both died in the hospital.

A dead pit bull dog was also found at the scene.

Authorities indicated that the victims knew each other, and that the unknown individual approached them and shot them.
