The Rai stops the participation of Fedez a Beasts. The rapper was supposed to be one of the highlight guests of the new season of the program Rai 2 conducted by Francesca Fagnanima from Viale Mazzini a sharp heel would come, despite the singer having accepted after a long back and forth.

The photo of the deputy minister was torn
Previously, live from the Costa Smeralda cruise ship, Federico had heavily attacked some Italian politicians, in particular Galeazzo Bignami, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, showing (and tearing up) the photo of government representative Meloni in a Nazi uniform during a party in 2005. “The lyrics of this song had not been announced to the Rai staff present here and therefore I want to take full responsibility for what I said”, he then underlined, attributing full authorship of his speech.
The defense of gender
In his freestyle, Fedez had also mentioned Rosa Chemicalat the center of the controversy launched by Fratelli d’Italia in the previous weeks, for wanting to bring gender fluid singing to Sanremo “Sex, polygamous love and porn on OnlyFans”. Complete with a request to Rai and the organizers: “Think again”. And even before that, between Fedez and Rai there was the case of the May 1st 2021 concert.

The accusations of censorship
Everything, then, was preceded by Fedez’s accusations against Rai which – according to the singer – wanted to exercise preventive censorship on his lyrics. He clearly denied accusations from viale Mazzini, but reiterated on Twitter by the artist who had published the phone call on social media exchanged with the (then) deputy director of Rai 3, Ilaria Capitani: “Rai denies the censorship. Here is the phone call taken last night where the deputy director of Rai 3 Ilaria Capitani together with her collaborators urge me to ‘adapt to a SYSTEM’ saying that I can’t mention names and surnames on stage”, was the text that accompanied the post.

“Rai has given a mandate to its lawyers to proceed in criminal proceedings against Fedez”, he announced Massimiliano Capitanio, at that time deputy of the Northern League and group leader in Rai Supervision. “A necessary and dutiful act, on the founding themes of our democracy”. “I’m proud of what I did, I would do it again a thousand times”, was the rapper’s reply. “I am ready to face the consequences.”

But then everything ended in nothing, due to “lack of certain requirements”. And to seal the newfound serenity was Fedez’s guest appearance in the episode on Sunday 3 October at What’s the weather like: the rapper, together with Achille Lauro e Orietta Berti he had been in the studio of Fabio Fazio to sing the summer hit with colleagues Mille. But the controversies, as we have seen, were destined to reignite.
