After resting from the trip, they jumped with the Tigrillos into the woodwork of the Evangelista Mora Coliseum in Cali to face Sabios, and the team achieved its first victory in the Professional League.
Tariq Christian and Aaron Lewis, two young people who shone in the United States Development League and the Arzeibayán League, arrived to contribute their power and effectiveness to the Antioquia team that, with them, is betting on high places in the tournament.
This was stated by Jorge Andrés Moreno Vélez, team manager, who is happy for the arrival of the players who contributed 16 and 12 points, respectively, against Sabios.
“They are two athletes who were recommended to us by our ‘talent scout’ friends and we are happy with what they can give us. We already saw it against Sabios where we increased the percentage of successes in the throws, going from 30 to 50 percent, and we hope that these days (Friday and Saturday) can adapt to the group and the work that Professor Luis Fernando Lopera is doing with the team. team to seek new victories and greater performance,” said Moreno.
And according to the manager, both Tariq and Aaron, and the Venezuelan Luis Carrillo, are the perfect complement for the young Tigrillos team that, supported by Norbey Aragón, is confident of fighting in the League.

Tariq is a point guard, 1.80 meters tall, while Aaron is a 1.92 meter forward, both 25 years old, with professional experience.
“Our philosophy is to cultivate young players from the quarry and project them internationally, that is why the reinforcements we bring are also young people who will surely contribute a lot to the group, since the goal is not only to advance to the next round, but to aspire to be in the dispute for third place,” said Moreno Vélez.
For now, Tigrillos will continue in Cali, focused on the Conference B dispute, with the idea of winning to advance to the next phase.
This Saturday they will do a double day of training, to continue with the adaptation of the foreigners to the group, since on Sunday they play against Team Cali, at 6:00 in the afternoon at the Evangelista Mora.
It must be remembered that for each conference the first four qualify for the next phase of the tournament.
