According to local media, a powerful explosion was heard

A large fire broke out today after an oil pipeline ruptured in Ivano-Frankivsk region, western Ukraine, Agence France-Presse reported, citing Ukraine’s national emergency service. According to UNIAN, six people were injured, including two children.

​”At 5:54 p.m. (Bulgarian time), near the village of Strimba, in the Nadvirnensky region, an oil pipeline (with a diameter of 150 mm) burst,” the Service announced, specifying that the oil spilled over an area of ​​approx. 100 sq. m. Rescuers were dispatched to the scene.

According to local media, there was a powerful explosion. In pictures published on social networks, thick clouds of black smoke can be seen over a settlement. The place of the fire is hundreds of kilometers from the front line of the battles with the Russian forces in the eastern part of the country, notes AFP.
