Valve Introduces Update for Counter-Strike 2: Patch Notes and Improvements

A Valve introduced an update to the Counter-Strike 2 on the night of last Friday (29) with the aim of making adjustments and improvements in the most diverse areas of the new version of the game.

Check out the update notes below:

(AS)
– Fixed an issue where the sound of grenades exploding in the air was not played.
– Added alternative sounds for grenades that fall on and off the map.

(GAMEPLAY)
– Fixed an issue where both terrorists in Right Arm mode appeared with the bomb.

(MISC)
– Fixed several bugs related to Vulkan.
– Updated the Phoenix Soldier icon to reflect the recent balaclava color change.
– It is no longer possible to bind “toggleconsole” to “mouse1”, as this command prevented normal interactions in the menus.
– Various bugs and adjustments to skins and stickers.
– Fixed an issue where votes for withdrawal would not be counted.

(ANIMATIONS)
– Fixed an issue where foot animations were not active.

(MAPS)
– Various fixes and adjustments to Ancient.

(PERFECT WORLD)
– Players who open the game in China and who have already accepted the region’s terms and agreements will now be able to choose between “-perfectworld” or “worldwide” modes.
– These modes can be active with “-promptperfectworld” or ignored if “-perfectworld” and “-worldwide” are active.

(DEDICATED COMMUNITY SERVERS)
– To open a dedicated community server, you can use this command line as a reference: “cs2 -dedicated +map de_dust2”.
– To enable logging, add this command line: “+sv_logfile 1 -serverlogging”.
– Or add this to the configuration: “sv_logfile 1” and “log on”.
– Logs can be used in the same way as they were in CS:GO.
