A ten-month-old little boy has been between life and death since Monday morning, after falling from the third floor of a building in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise). His vital prognosis was in jeopardy when the emergency services took charge of the baby and took him in absolute emergency to the Necker hospital in Paris. A transport carried out under motorized escort of the national police.
The events, the course of which remains quite inexplicable at this stage, occurred on rue d’Algérie, in Sarcelles, in the Rosiers district. It was around 10 a.m. when movers working in the neighborhood discovered the child on the ground. They took it back to the apartment of the nanny who had apparently gone shopping. However, an adult would be present in the apartment.
The circumstances of the fall remain unclear
It was in these circumstances, which remain unclear, that the baby was initially taken to the relatively nearby Sarcelles Village medical center, rue Pierre-Brossolette. This is where the Val-d’Oise firefighters, then a medical team from Smur Pédiatrique, took charge of the little victim to provide first aid on site before taking the road to Necker hospital.
The investigation was quickly entrusted to the Val-d’Oise Departmental Security, which will have to determine how the ten-month-old infant was able to pass through the window of an apartment, whether he managed to do so alone or not. It appears, according to the first elements collected, that the nanny with whom the child was was not approved and was working without being declared.
