President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said, “Today and tomorrow, God willing, we will tell the story of our country. There was a national dialogue that we launched last year, and we said we will talk and listen after us, and today we will tell you the story of Egypt from 2011 until today.”
This came during his speech at the opening of the Homeland Story Conference.
The first day will witness important sessions focusing on economic axes, with the participation of senior ministers. Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, will attend. These sessions address government policies and programs. In supporting the Egyptian economy.
As for the second day, it will witness sessions focusing on the energy and infrastructure sectors, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. During these sessions, large national projects and infrastructure development efforts are discussed.
While the third and final day witnesses sessions focusing on the areas of foreign policy and national security, attended by Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, and Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior. During these sessions, issues of national security and international relations are discussed.
Regarding the sessions dedicated to social justice and health, they will witness the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity. The activities will conclude with a closing session that brings together senior officials to review the results of the conference and future directions for development in Egypt.
