Zapopan she’s partying. This Sunday the Gran Fondo New York Zapopan will be held starting at 06:30 hours with start and finish in the same parking lot of the AKRON Stadium of the Chivas del Guadalajara. It is calculated that the absolute winner will reach the finish line before 10:00 am.
The route begins at the JVC Circuit and during the journey it will take roads such as the Periférico, Laureles Avenue, Ávila Camacho, Jorge Álvarez del Castillo Beltway and López Mateos, to Las Fuentes, where the return will be.
The road closures will begin on Sunday at 5 in the morning with 15 minutes, on the entire 63-kilometer route.
Everything seems to indicate that the Gran Fondo New York will have the participation of two thousand cyclists and with a prize of 50 thousand pesos in cash for the best team and 10 thousand for the absolute winners of each age group.
The activities at the Gran Fondo New York Zapopan will begin today, Friday, September 29, with the Zapopan Expo Bike, in the parking lot of the Chivas stadium. There the delivery of cyclist packages will begin.
There will be a warm-up session on Saturday. which will be from 7 to 10 in the morning. And finally, the competition will take place on Sunday morning.
In addition, the GFNY Kids Zapopan for girls and boys will start at 8 in the morning on Saturday on a parking circuit.
