BTS’ Jungkook’s second single song ‘3D’ topped the iTunes ‘Top Song’ chart in 100 regions.
Big Hit Music, the agency, announced on this day that Jungkook’s new song released the day before topped the ‘Top Song’ chart in 100 countries and regions, including the US, UK, Canada, Italy, and Japan, on the 30th.
‘3D’, featuring famous American rapper Jack Harlow, is an R&B pop song. It contains the message that we want to go beyond the first and second dimensions and meet the three-dimensional ‘you’ in person and always be together as ‘us’. Old school was reinterpreted using sounds and dances that were popular in the mid-2000s.
Big Hit Music reported that the music video for this song also topped the most popular videos on YouTube in the US and UK immediately after its release. The music video exceeded 11.91 million views (as of the morning of the 30th) just one day after its release.
With ‘Seven’ released in July, Jungkook ranked first on the US Billboard main song chart ‘Hot 100’, third on the UK Official Singles Chart, and first on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart for eight consecutive weeks.
