A Spanish student fell from the “Cradle of Love” near Veliko Tarnovo and almost lost her life. This was announced by the regional office for fire safety and population protection in the old capital city.
The incident happened this evening. The girl and a group of her fellow students climbed up to the facility, which has become extremely popular with tourists in the past few years.
The service reports that falling from the swing, the girl stopped at the edge of the precipice. Fortunately, the rescuers were able to quickly reach the place and provide first aid, then carry the victim on a stretcher in their hands over the difficult terrain to the road.
The student was taken to the hospital for examination, BGNES reports.
The route to the “Cradle of Love” is extremely steep and dangerous. Access to it even for off-road vehicles is impossible.
