GMembers of the Raika Vitis cooperative spent a fun evening with cabaret in the Theater an der Mauer.

Raiffeisenbank Vitis invited its members to a cabaret melange in the Theater an der Mauer on September 27th and 28th. Both evenings were packed with 50 people each and were a great success. The theater ensemble performed numerous sketches and humorous scenes and provided good entertainment and lots of laughs.

Chairman Rainer Liebscher explains the background: “It is stipulated in our statutes that as a Raiffeisen cooperative we have to support our members. My predecessor, our honorary chairman Franz Weber, had the idea of organizing an annual member outing in the early 1990s. Unfortunately, in the last few years before the pandemic, registration numbers continued to decline, so we decided to try something new. Our supervisory board chairwoman Andrea Hofbauer finally suggested organizing a cabaret evening. I would like to thank her very much for the excellent organization. The response proves us right; we had more than twice as many registrations as for the last trips.”

Managing director Othmar Scherzer was also impressed by the successful presentation and was very pleased with the positive response: “At Raiffeisenbank Vitis you can not only be a customer, but also a member, which makes the Raiffeisen banks unique. On average, our members conduct more banking transactions with us than customers who do not own a cooperative share; this event is intended as a small thank you for their loyalty. You can subscribe to a share in the business at any time, the only requirement is that you are of legal age.”
