Have you ever played so hard that you burst a blood vessel and got a nosebleed? No? I do not have either. But then again, I don’t have the stress and pressure of competing on the biggest stage in esports like what Hangzhou Spark’s Zheng “Shy” Yang Jie experienced during the ongoing Overwatch League Playoffs.
After a truly gritty and difficult match against Atlanta Reign, Spark clawed back to win after dropping the first two maps of the five-map series, and Shy celebrated with her teammates with a bloody nose. It’s hard to see the dedication and determination to this craft as incredible.
With Game 1 coming up, the Spark now need to face Boston Uprising later today.
