E.ON and Hochtief are building charging stations for electric cars
Two companies from Essen will soon ensure that there are more charging stations for electric cars throughout Germany. Federal Transport Minister Wissing wants to create more options for electric cars with the so-called Germany network. E.ON and HOCHTIEF from Rüttenscheid received the federal government grant. That’s why E.ON is building 1,200 new charging points throughout Germany, and HOCHTIEF will build 850. In total, the German network will soon create around 8,000 fast charging points nationwide. This should provide significantly better options for charging electric cars. E.ON has already announced that construction of the new charging stations should be completed by 2026.
