The Turkish artistic community and media were shocked by the death of the famous Turkish actress and news presenter, Seyda Fattahoglu, in mysterious circumstances.
Her body was found in a park in Istanbul hours ago, with a gun next to her, while Turkish media indicated that the news indicated that the 44-year-old actress and broadcaster had committed suicide.
A university student had found her body in the park, and the media reported that he heard a gunshot while he was passing through the area. He later found the famous actress and broadcaster lying on her back and had been shot in the head, so he immediately called the police.
While Fattahoglu’s body was transported to a hospital for forensic examination, the police reported that the gun found near her was licensed and registered in her name.
She noted in her initial report that there were no surveillance cameras in the place where the actress and broadcaster may have committed suicide.
The police also stated in their report that the pistol found near Fattahoglu’s body contained seven bullets in addition to a blank round. The report also stated that police found anti-depressant medications in her personal bag.
