The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued a report stating: “At 20:00 on 09/11/2023, members of the Dahr Al-Baidar checkpoint at the Regional Gendarmerie Unit stopped a black Cherokee Jeep heading from the Bekaa towards Beirut inside which was the person named: H. D. (born in 1998, Lebanese) was searched and found in his possession: 52 grams of cocaine, 15 grams of hashish, 0.5 kg of marijuana, 6 Tramadol pills, a Kalashnikov rifle, and a military quilt with 8 inside. “combs.”
He added, “At 23:00 on the same date, members of the Dahr al-Baidar checkpoint in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit stopped the person called: H.A. (born in 1996, Lebanese) riding a black and red motorbike, which turned out to be stolen from Beirut.”
He concluded, “The two mentioned persons were arrested and handed over, along with the ‘jeep’ and the seized items, to Dahr Al-Baidar police station, to take legal action against them.”
