The king stopped to talk to the cyclists for about two minutes. They talked about both the weather conditions and Charles’s childhood memories of this property.
Given the protocol of the royal family, it was unusual to see Charles alone in ordinary outdoor clothes talking about mundane matters.
McAvoy, who is not a big fan of the royal family, admitted that the meeting was exciting: “It was pretty cool.”
