You can cheer: it will be nice late summer weather again on Thursday. It will be sunny and relatively warm, with a maximum of 19 to 23 degrees. And that high temperature will remain that way for a while, reports the weather agency Weather Plaza.
This morning you may encounter some cloud fields here and there, but the sun is mainly shining. This afternoon there will be more clouds from the west, but it will still remain dry. The wind is moderate and comes from the southwest. Only tonight will it be really cloudy and there may be a shower, especially in the west.
We owe the relatively warm weather to storm Agnes over the United Kingdom. It blows warm wind to the Netherlands.
We will continue to reap the benefits of this in the coming days. Although we will experience a number of showers on Friday morning, we have little to complain about for the rest of the week: it will probably remain dry with a maximum of about 20 to 22 degrees. That is warm for this time of year. For comparison: on October 1, the average maximum temperature is always about 16 degrees.
The British themselves are, by the way a little less happy with storm Agnes: Scotland in particular is bracing for heavy rain and wind speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour today.
