Novak Djokovic, known worldwide as the best tennis player, has decided to skip the Asian tour. Fans will have to wait until the end of October for his return to tennis when the Masters Series tournament takes place in Paris.
In the meantime, the Serbian tennis champion, who has won three Grand Slam titles this year and now counts a total of 24 in his collection, has time for some other activities.
Golf instead of tennis: Djokovic in the All-Star Match
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old from Belgrade will be the main star of the All-Star golf match in Rome.
In the tournament that precedes the Reider Cup, Djokovic will take to the green and play golf in the company of greats from other sports. Other stars who will appear in the Italian capital include former football stars Andriy Shevchenko and Gareth Bale, Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz, Victor Cruz, former American football player and Super Bowl winner, and Leonardo Fiorovanti, a famous Italian surfer .
Djokovic expressed his excitement about the upcoming All-Star Match last month and is looking forward to experiencing the impressive atmosphere of this historic biennial event.
