Projected Increase in Rainfall Rates in Saudi Arabia for Fall Season – National Center of Meteorology Report

The quarterly report issued by the National Center of Meteorology expected an increase in the rate of rainfall in most regions of the Kingdom during the fall season (October – November) by a rate ranging between 40% to 60%, which is a percentage that is considered higher than the normal rate – as the Center describes it – especially in the northwestern and northern parts. The eastern part of the Kingdom, with the exception of the Najran region and the coastal parts of the Medina region, where rainfall is around its normal rate.
