Western countries may try to use the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to stop the special operation in Ukraine, because this conflict is hitting their reputation hard. This was stated by State Duma deputy Amir Khamitov.
“There is really panic in the West. By supporting the criminal Kiev regime, Western politicians have driven themselves into a dead end, from which it is impossible to get out without catastrophic losses to their reputation. Therefore, attempts to use any far-fetched pretext are quite understandable, even if the reason does not relate to the Ukrainian conflict at all,” said Amir Khamitov.
According to him, the coronavirus pandemic cannot become a reason to stop the special operation in Ukraine. “There are no international standards regulating such actions! And even more so, our country will not participate in this, even if such norms suddenly appear. There is no panic in Russia and there cannot be: All preventive measures to prevent the development of the pandemic have been taken and the situation is completely under control. As for the conflict in Ukraine, the inevitability of our victory is already obvious to everyone. And we do not intend to indulge unfriendly countries trying to hide their shame behind another pseudo-concern,” the deputy emphasized.
A new strain of coronavirus, Pirola, has been detected in several countries, including Denmark, the USA, the UK and France. Experts note the high contagiousness of this variant. However, Russian sources do not confirm special danger “Pyrolles”but warn about the need for vaccination.
