Al-Marsad newspaper: Popular singer Sheikha al-Hindi sparked controversy with her appearance during what appears to be a wedding ceremony in an event hall.
The popular singer, the author of the song, Mutawa Yaghsh, appeared wearing a burgundy men’s dress and wearing what looked like a white shemagh on her head, with an agal over it.
The video also documented Sheikha al-Hindi wearing earrings on her eyebrows, in addition to the ones she wore in her ears, and she was holding a loudspeaker and singing.
The video was widely circulated among social media activists who commented on her appearance in that masculine look.
Some commentators likened the appearance of the popular singer to the artist Abdullah, with goodness.
