British actor David McCallum, who played forensic doctor Ducky on NCIS for 20 seasons, has died at the age of 90.
CBS reported that McCallum, who gained great fame thanks to his role in the series “The Man From UNCLE” in the 1960s, died surrounded by his family in a New York hospital.
A statement on CBS’ Instagram said: “David was a talented actor and author, and was loved by so many around the world. He lived an amazing life, and his legacy will live on forever through his family and countless hours in film and television that will never go away. We will miss him.” “His warmth and endearing sense of humor lit up any room or sound stage he stepped onto, as well as the wonderful stories he often shared from a life passionately lived.”
