Victor Osimhen will sue Napoli. This was after the Nigerian striker was harassed through TikTok. Duh!
Osimhen became sick when Napoli were matched by Bologna last weekend. Il Partenopei’s chance to get three points was lost because Osimhen’s penalty in the 75th minute was off the mark.
Apart from that, Osimhen was also highlighted for arguing with Napoli coach Rudi Garcia who pulled him out in the 88th minute. Osimhen felt that the decision was not right because Napoli were looking for goals.
Two days later, news emerged that Osimhen would file a legal complaint against Napoli. This was after Napoli uploaded a TikTok video mocking Osimhen.
The TikTok video contains Osimhen asking for a penalty after being brought down by the opposing goalkeeper, but with his voice sped up. Osimhen is depicted wanting the penalty and ends with footage of his missed kick.
Napoli immediately deleted the video, but it quickly went viral on social media. This made the Osimhen camp angry because they felt they were not appreciated.

“What happened today on Napoli’s official TikTok account is completely unacceptable. They uploaded a video mocking Victor but it has now been immediately deleted. This could have a very bad impact on the player and make him suffer even more, after being reported incorrectly by the media some time ago, ” said Osimhen Agent Roberto Calenda in Reuters.
“We will pursue lawsuits and take any action to protect Victor.”
Osimhen’s party may be annoyed with Napoli, because this is not the first time this harassment has happened. At the beginning of the year, Napoli’s TikTok account made a parody about Osimhen being likened to a coconut.
Osimhen has even deleted most of the photos related to Napoli on his Instagram account. Is this a sign Victor Osimhen will it be withdrawn in January?
