He said during an intervention with the “Sayidaty” program broadcast on the Rotana Khalijiya channel: “I discovered the disease after suffering from a high temperature for 3 continuous months, shortness of breath, fatigue, and lack of sleep.”
He continued: “I went to a hospital in Najran, and I slept for 10 days. The doctors took a biopsy from the back and sent it to a hospital in Riyadh, and after analyzing it, they discovered that I had stage four infection,” noting that the tumor was spreading in the abdomen.

He added: “The impact of the news was negative, and a doctor spoke to me to accept the situation.” He went on to say: “The shock made me laugh and cry at the same time.”

He pointed out that he started receiving chemotherapy doses, and he felt hopeful that he would recover from the disease, and he had in mind the idea of dealing with the disease like any normal disease, such as influenza.
He added: “I overcame the disease by reading the Qur’an, and my belief in God was good, and with the development of medicine, disease became very easy to deal with,” noting that 70% of treatment depends on a good psychological state.
