Last Sunday, two people, a 50-year-old father and a 35-year-old woman, were kidnapped by armed bandits. The incident took place in the village of Talata Angavo, leaving the local community in shock. It started terrifyingly when the bandits made a brutal entry into the village, shooting into the air to intimidate residents. Faced with this armed threat, residents were forced to remain quiet, fearing for their own safety. The presence of these heavily armed criminals caused panic among the population, who had no choice but to hole up in their homes.
The kidnappers then targeted the house of the same family, where they kidnapped the two victims. A 50-year-old man, head of the family, and a 35-year-old woman were violently taken from their home, leaving their loved ones and neighbors in a state of shock and total incomprehension. After carrying out their heinous act, the kidnappers fled, disappearing into the darkness of the night, taking with them the father of the family and the wife.
Faced with this tragedy, local law enforcement were immediately alerted and quickly intervened on the scene.
