Two powerful explosions rocked homes in central Sweden, wounding at least three people and damaging buildings, according to the Associated Press.
Late Monday, an explosion occurred in Haselby, a suburb of the capital, Stockholm. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, an explosion in Linköping, about 175 kilometers to the southwest, tore off the facade of a three-storey building, scattering debris in the parking area.
It was not known whether the two explosions were related to each other.
The Swedish newspaper Expressen reported that the two explosions were linked to a dispute between criminal gangs, which is a growing problem in Sweden.
It is reported that two gangs, one led by a dual Swedish-Turkish citizen living in Turkey, and the other led by his former assistant, are fighting over drugs and weapons.
This year, there were 261 shooting incidents, killing 36 people and wounding 73 others.
