The DHL extra league of juniors brought the suspension of the match between Liberec and Litvínov not long after the start of the season. Fortunately, it had only a minimal effect on the competition table.

Horský was missing from the season roster of the junior team. We wrote about this new obligation of DHL extraliga participants in an earlier article:
“At the relevant time of the Match, the Player was not entered on the Club’s team roster, while the responsible representative of the Club, Mr. Zdeňek Zímou, was added to the Club’s team roster through the Registration System only on 9/11/2023 at 9:19 a.m., i.e. the second day after , in which the Match was played,” stated STK.
There is one theoretical possibility that a junior-aged player could start, even if he is missing from the roster – if he played at least fifteen games in the senior extra league in the given season. However, at the time when the match in question was being played, it had not even started yet.
The 17-year-old Horský started the last two seasons for the Litvin youth team. In Liberec, he took part in his first match of the new season, which is why the club officials forgot to add him to the roster in time. In addition to the suspension, the Litvín club was fined 2,000 crowns.
The piquancy of the whole matter is the fact that a week earlier, the disciplinary commission assessed another similar offense by Litvínov: The club did not draw up the mandatory roster in the specified range on the given date before the start of the competition. Olomouc was also guilty of the same, for which both clubs were fined 5,000 crowns.
