always.id – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) continues to be committed to supporting government program efforts in making efforts to prevent and control HIV/AIDS & TB among students a success.
This is also to realize Three Zero HIV/AIDS control by 2030, and the target is a 90% reduction in TB incidents and a 95% reduction in TB deaths by 2030.

The three zeros in controlling HIV/AIDS in question are zero new infections (no more new infections), zero AIDS related deaths (no more deaths due to AIDS), and zero discrimination (no more stigma and discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS )
Support and participation is really needed, including disseminating information through socialization and education related to HIV/AIDS & TB among school students, as is what PGN did at SMA Negeri 7 Surabaya today.
On this occasion, PGN through dr. Muhammad Yusuf Amran, MKK as a PGN Company doctor who conveyed several important points. These include introducing what HIV/AIDS and TB are, the nature of HIV and TB germs, how they are transmitted and how to prevent them. This activity was attended by 80 students and the board of teachers of SMA Negeri 7 Surabaya.

“Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS & TB will run optimally if it receives support from all elements, both from the government, society and also the business world,” said Yusuf.
This socialization and education activity also aims to increase understanding, awareness and active role of the community in preventing and controlling HIV/AIDS & TB, especially among students.
Also attending this activity was Santiaji Gunawan, Group Head HSSE PGN and team, Hamalsyahan, Acting. Division Head, Regional Support and Services SOR III and team, as well as Mrs. Alif Hanifah, M.Pd, M.Si. as Principal of SMA Negeri 7 Surabaya along with the board of teachers.

In another place, General Manager, SOR III PGN, Edi Armawiria said that this socialization and education activity is a joint commitment, communication, coordination and collaboration in preventing and controlling HIV/AIDS & TB so that it becomes stronger and more real, especially among students. Cross-sector collaboration is an important key to the success of this program. Not only in the Company’s internal environment, PGN collaborates with students as drivers in efforts to prevent and control HIV/AIDS & TB starting from the school environment.
The activity closed with the presentation of moments to the teacher council and students as a joint commitment in efforts to prevent and control HIV/AIDS & TB.
