Kane returns to the stage after ten years. On June 5, 2024, the band will give a concert in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The return is celebrated with a new single.
Dinand Woesthoff and Dennis van Leeuwen decided to quit the band in 2014. On Monday they announced that they will go on stage together again. They announced this during the premiere of the Videoland documentary series Kane – A Story Recorded.
The men celebrate Kane’s career with the concert. It has been 25 years since the band was founded. The rock band released seven albums, was awarded an Edison six times and scored several hits over the years, such as Rain Down on Me in No Surrender.
“If you had told me this a year and a half ago, I probably wouldn’t have believed you,” Woesthoff said. Van Leeuwen states that “with a documentary, a brand new track and a big live show in prospect” it almost feels like a new beginning. “I can’t imagine anything more fun right now.”
The new single What Are You Waiting For can be heard from Tuesday. Ticket sales for the concert start Friday.
