Klaas Otto is suing Marieke van Beek after the statements she made about him in a case against Rachel Hazes. A spokesperson for the Central Netherlands court confirmed this after a message about this briefly appeared on Otto’s Instagram.
There is a lawsuit between Van Beek and Hazes about rent that the first may or may not have paid to the second. During a witness hearing in that case, Van Beek said that Hazes would have put Otto on the payroll of her company in exchange for an envelope with 25,000 euros in cash.
The ex-leader of motorcycle club No Surrender, described by Van Beek as someone with a “not so clean past”, was under contract with Hazes’ company for six months in 2016.
Hazes contradicted the accusation during the case and Otto also made himself heard soon afterwards. He immediately threatened with summary proceedings if Van Beek did not rectify the ruling.
“It’s a shame that this path was chosen,” Otto wrote on Instagram when announcing the summary proceedings. “But if there is no will, then there is no other option than to follow this path.”
Otto’s summary proceedings will take place on Monday, October 30 in Utrecht.
