The Dutchman who went missing in Georgia after a landslide on August 5 has still not been found. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told NU.nl this on Monday when asked.
After the landslide, two Dutch people went missing in the mountain resort of Shovi, in the mountainous northwest of Georgia. Several people died.
The body of one of the Dutchmen was found that same month. For privacy reasons, nothing has been revealed about the identity of the pair.
Just under two months later, the search is still on for the other Dutchman, a ministry spokesperson said. She did not share any further information.
