MSI, a leading brand in computer hardware and gaming peripherals, announced that it will join hands with Capcom to introduce limited edition products. The target of collaboration is Capcom’s long-running blockbuster series, ‘Monster Hunter’, which is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024 next year.
News of the collaboration was announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) held at Makuhari Messe, Japan for four days from September 21 to 24, 2023, and at the Monster Hunter 20th anniversary celebration event to be held in March 2024. They announced that they plan to introduce a variety of limited edition products.
MSI’s logo and mascot are in the shape of a dragon. The product has not yet been revealed, but according to an official, this collaboration was inspired by ‘Rathalos’, a monster that is a symbol of Monster Hunter and is present in all series. Target products will include laptops, monitors, graphics cards, motherboards, cases, and water coolers.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with CAPCOM, a giant in the gaming industry,” said MSI Vice President of Marketing Sam Chern. “This collaboration will actively leverage the representation and expertise of both companies in each field to ensure satisfaction not only in terms of technical elements but also aesthetically.” “We will introduce game collaboration products that are available,” he said.
