Actor Tomás Cao, another of the thousands of Cubans who have arrived in the United States as part of a mass exodus, makes a living in this country working in a supermarket.
In an image shared on social networks by a colleague of Cao, the two can be seen together in the place where the artist works.
“What a pleasure to find a tough guy in the artistic acting medium. Tomás Cao Uriza, thank you always for the talk,” the actor, producer and presenter Junior Martínez Fonceca also wrote on his Facebook profile.
The snapshot, shared on a Facebook page, gave rise to praise and reactions from many people, including that of the Cuban actress Lili Santiesteban who wrote:
“My beautiful and noble Tomás, you always have to reinvent yourself and start from scratch, you are the best, and you will be in everything you do. I respect you, admire you and love you very much.”
Dozens of the artist’s followers also shared words of affection for him. “No matter what job you do, you will always be an excellent actor and a super noble person in every way, I love you, a hug,” said one.
“He is a great actor, I admire him very much, I wish him the best in the world, especially that he can act again because he is truly one of the best”; “A great actor, I like his work, blessings and much success in your career”; “Excellent actor and the person who accompanies him in the photo is an excellent friend. Blessings to both,” others added.
There are many Cuban actors who have arrived in the United States in recent months. The list includes, for example, the actresses Yasbell Rodríguez and Yerlín Pérez, as well as Lily Bergues.
