New Route Support Eligibility and Conditions at Eindhoven Airport

Eindhoven Airport has a list of twenty destinations for which airlines can receive New Route Support. These include Munich, Zurich, Geneva, Berlin and Stockholm. A number of conditions are attached to New Route Support. The destination is not yet offered by an airline that is active at Eindhoven Airport. The airline must fly to the destination at least twice a week throughout the year for at least three years. Destinations that are closer than 400 kilometers from Eindhoven Airport or that can be reached within four hours by train, bus or car are not eligible for New Route Support.

No extra slots
Eligibility for New Route Support is on a first-come, first-served basis, the airport reports. There are no additional slots available for New Route Support. This means that airlines that use New Route Support and therefore add a new destination to the NRS list will fly less frequently to a current destination or delete a current destination. The maximum permitted number of flight movements per year at/from Eindhoven Airport remains unchanged with the introduction of New Route Support.

From February 29, 2024, Transavia will fly at least three times a week between Eindhoven and Oslo.
