The “Hermès Snap”, also known as a wallet bag, has one large compartment and one card pocket inside. The new HERMÈS bag, which has a gusset, is exactly as its name suggests, a “wallet bag,” and will fit everything that modern urban dwellers need in just the right amount. Bandouliere whose length can be adjusted is also available.
The material is box calf. The lustrous luster and smooth firmness of this leather make it a trademark of the Maison. The torso is luxuriously made from a single piece of leather, and the unfinished surface brings out the characteristics of the leather to its fullest.
The same can be said for “RMS Tutman”, which we featured last time, but when it comes to creating designs and constructions that take into account new lifestyles, there is no one that can match Hermès. Hermès was certainly one of the first to jump on the bandwagon of the shift in the role of infrastructure from horse-drawn carriages to automobiles.
On a side note, personally, the play on words between “Hermès” and the word “snap” for snap buttons really hit home.
