Four days after its success in La Romagna at the opening of the championship (2-3), C’Chartres TT lost at home to Jura Morez, this Sunday, during the second day of ProA. For their reunion with the Rosskopf hall, Emmanuel Rassouw’s players did not disappoint, and gave the 2019 French champion a hard time. But they ended up giving up in the decisive match, after more than four hours of intense combat (2-3).
The C’Chartres TT receives its bete noire, Jura Morez
The CCTT, with a 100% South American team and therefore without the Hungarian Bence Majoros, hampered by his back, nevertheless got off to the best start. He led 1-0, thanks to Horacio Cifuentes’ inaugural success over Bojan Tokic, and was not far from going 2-0. Because Alberto Mino had the match in hand against Lubomir Jancarik. But the Ecuadorian, for his big debut in Chartres, was unable to finish, leaving Jura-Morez to equalize.
Cifuentes overexcited
Behind, despite good resistance, the Brazilian Vitor Ishiy ended up giving up against the Finnish Benedek Olah, once again in five rounds. But Chartres had a major asset up its sleeve this Sunday: a Cifuenfes in turmoil! Author of a big game, and winner of an anthology point on an opposing set point, the Argentinian, excited, offered himself Jancarik (3-1) and put the two teams back to back (2 -2).

Was the CCTT finally going to tame its nemesis, after six defeats in a row? Ultimately, no. Even without its Asians, Jura-Morez remains a valuable team, and Bojan Tokic, 42, proved it by barely overcoming Alberto Mino, valiant, but unfortunate for his first steps in Chartres.
With five points in two days, and a place at the top of the table, the start of the CCTT nonetheless remains very satisfactory.
