A tragedy occurred in Italy, two Hungarian tourists drowned in the sea, the Italian news agency ANSA reported. The 46- and 48-year-old men went into the sea in Tuscany, near Livorno, at Rosignano, famous for its sandy beaches, despite the unfavorable, stormy weather, reports MTI. A strong south-westerly wind was blowing on the coast, and the two Hungarians could not swim back between the big waves.
The arriving ambulances could not help them, they could only determine the state of death. According to the ANSA news report, the coast guard, the fire brigade and the police were also on the scene.
According to an article in La Repubblica, the men were vacationing with their families in Italy, and their relatives watched the rapidly unfolding tragedy from the shore.
