Angry New York Yankees Fans Demand the Firing of Manager Aaron Boone and GM Brian Cashman in 2023

Although they entered Saturday winning their last two games, the New York Yankees appear to be a foot and a half out of the postseason in 2023, which brings with it understandable anger from their fans, with manager Aaron Boone and general manager Brian Cashman as central axes of the aforementioned anger.

So much so that the New York Post confirmed that many followers of the Bronx currency were shouting during Friday’s confrontation against the Arizona Jingle Bells slogans such as “Cashman Out” and “Fire Cashman”, in clear allusion to the hierarchical executive, whose movements in the offseason they have not paid dividends in the regular season.

Likewise, banners of some fans could be seen in the stands of Yankee Stadium demanding the head of Brian Cashman who has been a member of the “Mules” board for more than two decades, and who has a contract until 2026.

“The fans are not happy. They are the only ones who come out every night to support us and spend a lot of money to see us win and this year we have not done that,” captain Aaron Judge declared to the Post itself.

Although he has worked with the Yankees in the five World Series rings that the currency has held since 1996, Brian Cashman could pay the price as a result of the drought of some New Yorkers who last reached the fall classic in a now distant 2009.
