Likewise, banners of some fans could be seen in the stands of Yankee Stadium demanding the head of Brian Cashman who has been a member of the “Mules” board for more than two decades, and who has a contract until 2026.
“The fans are not happy. They are the only ones who come out every night to support us and spend a lot of money to see us win and this year we have not done that,” captain Aaron Judge declared to the Post itself.
Although he has worked with the Yankees in the five World Series rings that the currency has held since 1996, Brian Cashman could pay the price as a result of the drought of some New Yorkers who last reached the fall classic in a now distant 2009.
