C’Chartres Football continues its winning streak with a 2-0 victory against Blois reserve

Favorite of Regional 1, C’Chartres Football continues to assume its status at the start of the year. Laurent Fournier’s team won 2-0 against the Blois reserve, this Saturday, September 23, during the 2nd day of the championship. His fourth success in as many matches, without conceding a single goal.

In the first period, the CCF sometimes lacked technical accuracy and failed to convert its opportunities. But, after the hour mark, the Chartrains ended up bringing down a hitherto solid Blesoise team on two set pieces.

Two corners taken by Bousseaden and headed by new arrival Malcom N’Guessan (1-0, 65′) then by Ibrahima Traoré (70′). Next meeting for Chartres on Sunday October 1st at home, in the Coupe de France, against Malesherbes (R2).

For its part, FC Drouais was stunning against ACP Tours. Having come through in the first act at the end of which it found itself trailing 1-2 despite Ndongo’s opener (17′), Robin Moreau’s collective recovered in the most beautiful way.

In numerical superiority after an expulsion of Blanchard for an intentional handball in the area resulting in a penalty converted by Basté (56′), the FCD then accelerated.

Ndongo scored a hat-trick while Basté scored twice for a clear 5-2 victory. After his elimination at Beaugency (R3) in the Coupe de France, Dreux got back on track.

This Sunday, September 24, Lucé will host Saint-Jean-le-Blanc.
