Two residents in Parepare, South Sulawesi, had to be rushed to hospital after experiencing infections in their vital organs. It is known that this happened after the two of them injected hazelnut oil into their vital organs with the aim of enlarging them.
Even though there is no scientific evidence, the trend of injecting hazelnut oil into the penis is often done by people to enlarge the penis. But, can the size of this penis be increased again?
Andrology specialist Dr. Rahmawati Thamrin, SpAnd, said that generally in adult men there is nothing else that can be done to enlarge the penis. However, it is still possible to happen through surgery.
Regarding candlenut oil injections, he emphasized that they cannot enlarge the penis and can cause permanent damage.
“There is no medical procedure to enlarge the penis by injection or inserting fluid into the penis. And it cannot maintain an erection,” he explained to detikcom, Tuesday (12/9/2023).
According to him, penis size cannot be a benchmark for determining sexual satisfaction. So, it doesn’t necessarily mean that a large penis can have a longer lasting erection.
“For sexual life, what is needed is maximum erection and sufficient sexual duration,” said Dr. Rahmawati.
“So, don’t use it as a benchmark for determining sexual satisfaction,” continued the andrology specialist from Primaya Hospital.
