If you ask people if they ever experience stress, everyone will indicate that they experience it occasionally, but what exactly is stress? Stress is in fact a learned behavior.

Your ‘system’ has learned on an unconscious level to be afraid, angry or sad about something and remembers this, so that the next time you experience something similar, the stress response is automatically activated. We can notice this, for example, by an increased heart rate, high blood pressure, sweaty palms, having to urinate, feelings of anxiety, etc. etc.

The stress response is therefore completely automated. This also means that talking about your problem may provide some relief, but it cannot solve the problem. What does help is to ensure that the stress response no longer occurs on its own. With the help of Emotional Freedom Techniques this is possible!
