Thus, 8 million euros are granted for this phase. The total cost of the work is estimated at 65 million euros. Delivery of the 1,220-seat establishment in the heart of the Mathurins district, on the former site of the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) which folded in 2016, is scheduled for 2028.
A city mobilized for 50 years
“This operation responds to the lack of places in establishments in the south of Hauts-de-Seine,” writes the municipality in a press release. According to its projections, 700 additional high school students will live in Bagneux by 2030. Each year, a few high school students are already left behind without assignment while their local high schools are in Sceaux or Montrouge.
