Impossible to miss the return of Muzik’Elles, Saturday September 23 and Sunday September 24, 2023: since this summer, electoral signs have been brought out in Meaux but not to announce elections this time. They serve as a support for the programming and announce the color: the festival dedicated to women is back!
To ensure the organization of the festival, Meaux called on around fifty volunteers. Among them, a good number will be responsible for tending the festival bar, under the leadership of the asso siffl’art association, the one which organizes the Festifl’art each year.
The bar will be located in the public village, with several Meldoise associations all around which will offer their culinary specialties. And before the arrival of the singers and the singer, entertainment will keep the public waiting.
Programming
For the 11th edition of Muzik’Elles, the essence of the festival remains the same: offering the stage to women, almost only women.
Men will have carte blanche but with the obligation to invite women to sing with them.
This year, this “They” in question is none other than the singer -M-, Matthieu Chedid, who will end his tour in Meaux on Saturday evening.
More than 6,300 people are expected for this first evening of the concert.

On Sunday, two other “They” will also have the stage to themselves. The Billet d’humour group is well known to Meldois since Allan and Brice are from the Pays de Meaux. They will welcome a surprise guest.
Unlike most festivals, Les Muzik’Elles welcomes 82% women on stage, compared to 14% on average.
The Ru’Elles are back… or almost
This was one of the traditions of the festival before it stopped in 2014: in parallel with the concerts held in Tauziet, the City organized a whole series of events in the city center. Concerts, strolls… all free to transform the town of Meaux into a giant concert and make the party complete.
If the Muzik’Elles are indeed back in Tauziet next weekend, this will not quite be the case in the city center this year. The Ru’Elles will take place on Friday in the very center, with the program of strolls with musicians from the music schools of the Pays de Meaux, a brass band and a parade of Meaux dance associations who will offer demonstrations, accompanied by the band The Funny Ladies. “The Ru’Elles will be bigger next year,” promise the organizers.
The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. from Place Sauvé de la Noue. The procession will then take the path of the pedestrian street.
The singer Suzane gives up coming to Meaux
Three days before the start of the festival, however, bad news fell: the singer Suzane gave up participating in the festival, having injured her foot.
The organizers therefore had to review the duration of the artists’ appearances to try to make up for Suzane’s absence. The -M- show is thus extended by 15 minutes!
