Experience the Rich Cultural Heritage at the Tenth Early Music Festival in Andújar

Starting this Friday, the city of Andújar will host the tenth Early Music Festival. The concerts will begin today with a performance by Kaveh Sarvarian and her show “Persian Music and Dance.” On Friday, September 29, it will be the turn of ensemble musicians with “Medieval music in the three cultures.”

The halfway point of this tenth Antigua Ciudad de Andújar Music Festival will arrive on October 6 with Al Cor Gentil. Finally, the Granada Chamber Choir will offer the show “Magallanes y Elcano”.

All performances will take place at the Professor Sotomayor Archaeological Museum, located in the Don Gome Children’s Palace at 8:00 p.m.

In parallel to the actions, the Andújar City Council organizes two workshops in this edition. The first of them will be on Saturday, September 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Persian dance. On Saturday, October 7, a workshop on percussion will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., also at the Archaeological Museum.
