Then it would perfectly fit the one-word description of the camper van recently built by American Sharrieff Fareed. If you saw this white “thing”, which has obviously been through something, parked on the street, you certainly wouldn’t think that it hides a luxurious living space inside.
The Freightliner Sprinter, which is a van in our region known as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, from 2004 looks like an absolute doozy – perhaps like a craftsman’s machine.
And it’s certainly had a lot of service behind it, as the photos of the condition in which Sharrieff bought the van reveal. It also had more than 229,000 miles on the odometer, i.e. over 360,000 kilometers.
The clever American nevertheless saw potential in it and decided to convert it into a richly equipped motorhome. At the same time, the conversion allegedly cost him less than 10,000 dollars, so it fit under 230,000 crowns. The interior still feels quite luxurious.
Sharrieff is said to have paid attention to insulation and ventilation, there are solar panels on the roof, there is no heating, and there is also a camera system monitoring the surroundings of the van. The furniture is of course custom made to fit exactly as it should.
The car has a kitchenette with a sink and running water, a two-burner stove, a refrigerator and a cleverly designed work surface.
In another part of the car, a small shower corner with a toilet is hidden behind a sliding door, and the rear part of the van is a space for entertainment and sleeping.

It is possible to sleep on the corner sofa, but if the overnighter finds it narrow, it is sufficient to flip a large mattress over it from the side of the interior. A nice idea is a television mounted on a pull-out mechanism. By default, it is hidden in a piece of furniture, it can be “summoned” with the remote control.
