Sharon Osbourne has revealed the secret behind her four-decade marriage to Ozzy, admitting it wasn’t always easy. The 70-year-old former co-host of “The Talk” said that while the couple’s relationship had its struggles in the past, they were able to overcome them by “accepted” each other, writes the publication “Page Six”.
“We’re both weird”Sharon tells E!News about her marriage to the 74-year-old Black Sabbath member. “Maybe I look normal because of the way I dress, but personally I wouldn’t use that word to describe myself.” She and Ozzy met in 1971, but only became boyfriends in ’82. So, 40 years later, Sharon recalled some moments in their marriage that proved challenging. One of them was in 2016, when they almost broke up after Ozzy was caught in the act with another woman.
“It wasn’t easy, but no relationship is easy”says his wife. “You have to work at it. There are always bad times, but if you love yourself enough, you’ll get through it.”

The other moment Sharon talks about is her husband’s firing. Ozzy was fired from his band in 1979 while struggling with his drug addiction, and it was Sharon who helped him get back on his feet and start a solo career. “We are made of the same”she says metaphorically and emphasizes how important it is “to realize that we have to accept people as they are”. “They will never be what you want them to be. You have to accept them.”
As for moving back to their native England, on their family podcast called “The Osbournes,” Sharon and Ozzy discussed their plans for the near future. For Osborne, who has had a number of health problems in recent years, it’s nice to live there. He himself says: “We’ve been planning this for the past four ****** years”. And his wife adds: “I just feel like I want to go home.” In her words “in England we can do more of what we want than here”.
