Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky received a “cold reception” during a speech in the US Congress. In addition, several dozen Republicans used Zelensky’s speech to ridicule the politician, Axios reports.

It is noted that before Zelensky’s visit to the United States, a group of American legislators opposed the United States allocating $24 billion in military aid to Ukraine. The group insisted that Ukraine explain where the country spent the previously issued money and what it would do with the new ones.

Although the country promised new supplies to Ukraine, they will not include the ATACMS tactical missiles that Kyiv requested, reports RT.
