Sep 21, 2023 | Bad Dürrheim (rad-net) – The final of the “Müller – The Purple Logistics Cycling Bundesliga” will take place this weekend. As part of the RiderMan in Bad Dürrheim, the women and juniors will compete in the last three races of the 2023 season.
On Friday there will be a 16 kilometer long individual time trial from Bad Dürrheim to Oberbaldingen and back. On Saturday the racers will travel 98.5 kilometers from Bad Dürrheim via Neudingen, Blumberg, Ewattingen, Göschweiler and Donaueschingen back to Bad Dürrheim. The finale on Sunday is the 81.5 kilometer long race from Bad Dürrheim via Donaueschingen, Fürstenberg, Pfohren and Öfingen back to Bad Dürrheim. The two road races have a few meters of altitude, so selective racing can be expected again.
The current leader is Katharina Fox (Maxx Solar-Rose) with 1073 points. However, she is in action at the European Road Championships in the Netherlands this week. Her teammate Olivia Schoppe is second with 748 points. In third place with 644 points is Pia Grünewald (Mangertseder-Bayern), a junior who is also competing in the European Championships. The fight for overall victory is still open. In the team ranking, Maxx Solar-Rose leads with 226 points, ahead of Stuttgart (194) and Wipotec-RLP (161).
